B) photosynthesis use light energy and release chemical energy in the form of sugar glucose and oxygen because sugar glucose is needed for cellular respiration.

A) reactants have more potential energy because they have more stored chemical energy, but it is not more in products because this excess energy in reactants is released to surrounding environment when reaction occurs
