An organizations culture depend on various factors and it is important for the organization to maintain a proper culture. The factors that constitutes an organization's culture are values, beliefs and assumptions which will control or drive the behavior of the employees in the organization. The culture has a strong effect on the employees and based on the culture the employees tend to behave so that they maintain the basic norms.
Yes, location is a critical aspect of a company's culture because based on the location and the people residing in that location, the culture of the organization has to vary because local employees will be hired in large numbers. organizations tend to follow the culture of the location they are established and the culture vary to some extent based on the location. If we talk about the southeastern part of USA we will see that this part consist of the African American population and therefore the organizational culture will be influenced by their culture and that is quite obvious. Foreign population is more in these area and they have a mixed culture therefore the organization should adopt this culture and work towards creating a mix. It is said that this part of USA is different from all other parts of the country hence organizations need to be careful while doing business here.
