NARS is a French brand in the cosmetics segment founded by a photographer who is also a make-up artist. Nars products include foundation, eye shadows, lip glosses, lip-sticks, blushes, etc to meet the different needs of the customers. Nars is considered as a prestige brand and the brand is not advertised in any platform. They have a strong presence with other make-up artists who actually know the brand. Since the founder is a great make-up artist in catwalks and famous fashion shows, the products are greatly used in these shows. The management feels that it would be better to invest in research and development of products rather than advertising.
I strongly recommend that Nars to be advertised in social media platform to increase consumer awareness thereby increasing the sales and revenue of the company. The revenue could then be used for research and development. The consumer behavior rationale would be that a great French brand is available directly to them. This consumer marketing efforts makes the Nars products available directly to consumers who would love the brand due to its quality and price. Additionally, the Nars brand can be made available through websites as it can cater to the international market directly to the consumers without any intermediaries.
Note- If you like the answer, please provide an up-vote as it would be quite encouraging for me. Thank you.
