(c) Determine the dimensions of the sedimentation basins and the overflow rate for a water depth of 4 m, and a length:width ratio of 5:1. (d) What is the percent removal of two solid particles with settling velocity of 0.001 and 0.002 m/s in the sedimentation basin if the basin is (i) a rectangular tank and (ii) an upflow clarifier?
