Answer #1

Relative value in finance means attractiveness of one security compare to another in terms of risk, return on investment, liquidity etc

Greater the relative value, the better is the security.

The graph shows the relative value of the three stocks and 1 portfolio.

Nike has the greatest relative value among all of them. Making it a better investment. Hold Nike.

It is however interesting to note that, at starting the Facebook had the least relative value but with time it has improved and came to the second spot.
The future outlook of Facebook looks good and bright. It's is recommended to buy Facebook.

PG has consistently the least relative value and it doesn't look like a good investment. Try to avoid PG and Sell it.

The overall relative value of the portfolio has increased consistently which is a good sign.

[Recommendation:
Sell PG and buy Facebook.
Hold the Nike.
It will increase the overall relative value of the portfolio.]

In a digital communication system, probability density function of the two level signal received in the receiver is: PR(v) = PS(v)*PN(v) = [0.4δ(v+1) + 0.6δ(v-4)]*η(v). And , η(v) is the noise that added to the message sign as the additive Gaussian noise with a value of zero and an effective value of 3. (* symbol means convolution process, in the solution of this problem you can use the below Q function table.) ,   η(v) = A) Plot the probability density...
