Answer #1

An end of life discussion can turn to extremely emotional moments and end up in intense distress. There are a few things we should practice when discussing the end of life decision making. In my case, the patient went through different emotional states throughout the discussion. As a nurse, I must do everything to alleviate the anxiety and fear of the patient and his or her family. Good communication with the patient can establish a strong bond and it will be helpful to support his wishes and desires before going to death.

These kinds of experiences had some great impact on my life as I understood the value of life. No one is thinking about death nowadays as it can appear in front of you at any time; for example in the form of a disease. Therefore I am trying to transform my life into a positive direction leaving all my worries behind.
