Power BI is a Microsoft Data Analytical & Reporting tool, having many certified visualizations from Microsoft & many other custom visualizations to better represent data in many types graphical representation using different visuals.
Power Bi is a current marketing dominant Reporting tool using this we can connect 120+ different data sources( Relational DB's, excel, CSV, text) and format data (using Power Query) and Modelling data(Power Power Pivot), then reporting (using Power View).
there is one exception, in order to use power BI you need either Power Bi or free licence type .
If you go for python , don't need to pay anything.
