r=angle of refraction=26.1

v1=velocity of light in air=3X10^{8}m/s

v2=velocity of light in given medium=?

sin(r)/sin(i)=v2/v1

v2=v1X[sin(r)/sin(i)]=3X10^{8}X[sin26.1/sin75.7]=1.36X10^{8}m/s=1.36X10^{8}=speed of light in second medium

2) (1/u)+(1/v)=1/f

u=object distance=34.5cm

v=image distance=?

f=focal length=-102mm=-10.2cm

(1/u)+(1/v)=1/f

(1/34.5)+(1/v)=1/(-10.2)

1/v=(-1/10.2)-(1/34.5)
