Answer #1

Answer.(a) Balanced reaction

H2 + Br2\rightarrow 2HBr

in this reaction 1 mole of H2 reacts with 1mole of Br2 to form 2 mole of HBr.

Type of reaction: This reaction is combination reaction. In this reaction two or more than two compounds combine to form one compound.

Answer (b) Balanced reaction

AgNO3 +NaCl \rightarrow AgCl(ppt.) + NaNO3

Explanation- A chemical reaction that invoves the formation of an isoluble product (precipitate) is called precipitation reaction. When 1 mole of AgNO3(aq.) reacts with 1 mole of NaCl(aq.), 1mole of precipitate of AgCl and 1 mole of NaNO3(aq.) is obtained

Type of reaction:-Formation of AgCl is a Precipitation reaction.

Answer (c). Balanced reaction.

Zn + CuCl2\rightarrow ZnCl2 + Cu

When Zn is added to CuCl2 solution, Zn replace Cu from CuCl2 to form ZnCl2

Explanation. A chemical reaction in which more reactive element displace a less reactive from its aqueous solution is known as Displacement reaction.

Type of reaction. This is displacement reaction because Zn is more reactive than Cu and  displace the Cu from CuCl2 solution. This reaction is also known as redox reaction.

Answer (d). Balanced reaction.

2AlBr3\rightarrow 2Al + 3Br2

Explanation: A rection in which a single compound breaks into two or more simpler compounds is known as a decomposition reaction.

Type of reaction. This is decomposition reaction because AlBr3 on heating decompose into Al(solid) and Br2(liquid)

Answer (e).Balanced reaction.

(1.First balance the carbon and hydrogen atom both side. 2 Then balance the oxygen atom both side.)

C5H8 + 7O2\rightarrow 5CO2 + 4H2O

Explanation: A reaction in which oxygen combine with a compound to form corban di oxide and water is known as combustion reaction.

Type of reaction.

This reaction is Combustion reaction. In this reaction alkyne combine with oxygen to form corban di oxide and water.
