Epidemiological data show that the use of antibiotics is often followed by cases of vaginosis (bacterial infection of the vagina) or vaginitis (inflammation of the vagina) in women. Can you explain this finding?
bacterial vaginosis is the infection which occurs in the reproductive organ in women, this happens if the women is in contact with multiple sex partners or unprotected intercourse ,commercial sex workers or during douching where in the reproductive organ is sprayed with water to the inside part of the body. This happens due to ecological imbalance of microflora or microbota and thereby it causes inflammation, vaginal discharge, bad vaginal odour, vulvar itching, allergy, fishy odour. So when this symptoms occurs there is change in pH and there is growth in facultative anaerobic bacteria and thereby infection occurs. In certain cases it increases chance of STD,HIV.So to treat this infection, antibiotics are used.It kills the bacteria causing these symptoms.Symptoms will worsen if the correct dosage of antibiotics is not taken or is stopped completely without a particular course.Any antibiotic such as clindamycin ,ciprofloxacin or cetrisil is used.

4. Lessons in Data Stealing: RBD Edition. Many textbook authors collect data to use in their books. Often, they are kind enough to package these together into an R library that anyone can freely download. Install the package BHH2, which is based on a book by Box, Hunter, and Hunter, 2nd edition. In this package is a data set called penicillin.data. Get this loaded into R. This data set records how much penicillin can be created (yield) via 4 different...

2) Amines are often protected with the tert-butyloxycarbonyl BOC) group. Show the mechanism of fomation of the BOC protected amine (a carbamate). Be sure to show all bonds formed broken and inclade all intermediates including the appropriate formal charge BOOO Do you expect that the carbamate functional group is more or less reactive than an amide towards nacleophilic addition? Bricfly explain your reasoning The BOC protecting group can be removed under acidic conditions, such as treatment with tnifloroacetic acid (TFA)...
Is there a way to show how the data was input in excel for this homework, An experiment is conducted to evaluate the storage conditions for fish after it has been caught. Fish were caught and either directly put into a freezer or left out for different intervals tlag (3, 6, 9, and 12 hours) before being put into the freezer. The bacterial contamination was evaluated after 7 days of storage in the freezer. For every time point, 3 fish...

Devise an algorithm and implement it in a program to solve the following problem, similar to one often faced by an MP3 player. For our purposes, a song consists of the following data fields: title (a nonempty ASCII string) composer (a (possibly empty) ASCII string), running time (a positive integer). Input consists of n songs and an integer k with 1 Sksn. Your program must find the k songs with longest running...
You notice that there is an increasing prevalence of a bacterial infection at your hospital that appears to be affecting people. The bacterium has been named T. routmania, and microbiologists have found that it is a gram negative organism that is highly resistant to typical antibiotics. Immunologists have found that the organism appears to target T-cells in the host. Analysis of lymphatic fluid from infected patients has found an unusually low level of IL-2, yet tissue samples appear to have...
