Interpersonal conflicts occur when an individual or group try to intervene or somehow start affecting other individual or group's effort and work to achieve their respective target.
It is mainly of three component
The behavioral component, The cognitive component and The affective component
A conflict started between two salespeople in relation to their target where one sales representative wanted to get another colleague target to be double because he thinks that he is getting more base salary and less target. This leads to a debate between the two and also an HR issue
It was resolved with the Line manager intervention where he took a session of the employee who initiated the dispute that anything related to target and salary is the sole discretion of the line manager and it is based on multiple factors so this is something nobody should interfere apart from the line manager or senior management.
With this effort of the line manager, the complaining employee withdraws his complaint
