ADH(Anti diuretic Hormone)-Vasopressin is a Hormone Secreated by Posterior pituitary when Plasma Volume is Low that is During Dehydration or when osmolarity is above 300 mOsm/L

ADH Acts on Collecting Duct------to the V2 receptors on the cell surface of tubular cells--- intracellular cascade that results in formation of water channel, aquaporin-2.

Through These water channels,There is Reabsorbtion of Water From The Filtrate(Urine) into the Interstitium then to Blood.

So that Loss of Water thrugh Urine is Reduced---More water is retained---Dehydration is corrected ---Plasma Volume Increases ---Osmolarity Decreases
