The rituals of adulthood which can be found in non-western cultures as mentioned below:

1. In African culture, the rituals of adulthood are being divided into three phases namely separation, transition period and reincorporation process. The main motive of coming fo age rituals is to help the child to recognize that he or she has become an adult in the eyes of the community. Carved panels are used as an indicator in this culture.
