Is aggression innate or learned? Explain.
Although aggression is one of the most important emotion which is hardwired innately, it’s the environment that would bring out the aggression. Thus, everyone is capable of being aggressive provided the environment force them to bring out the aggression in them. It’s because people were able to cope with their environment and exert aggression for their survival. However, in my opinion, aggression is learnt depending on the environment where one lives. Someone who lives in a calm, serene and non-violent environment wouldn’t become aggressive but someone who lives in an aggressive and violent environment would become aggressive.
