Drugs or alcohol or substantce abuse treatment programs are divided into two programs :- Inpatient rehab and outpatient rehab.
Inpatient rehabs are intensive, residential treatment programs
designed to treat serious addictions.
In inpatient treatment program patients stay in the facility. It
means they have to stay at the treatment center during the
treatment time period.
It has higher success rate I'm compare to other treatment program
but is more expensive than other programs.
The duration of this program is 28 days to 6 months. The purpose of
creating this program is to treat serious addiction problems. In
this treatment family members are allowed to meet the patient in
order to provide him/her emotional support. In inpatient program
patient receive different therapies and always under the
supervision of the doctor. Examples of disorders are :- depression,
bipolar disorder etc.
