  1. Most bacteria that adversely affect humans prefer environmental conditions similar to those that our cells need. Explain how we can use this knowledge to protect ourselves from bacteria that cause disease and food spoilage.

Freezing: We should freeze The food in order to protect the food from contamination, colder a food is, the slower its rate of deterioration.

Heating: heating the food to kill the bacteria ,we can go eat the food , extreme heat can kill the bacteria.

Pickling and adding venegar to the food can help from food spoilage.

It's always good to have a fresh food avoiding canned food including fish, chicken and beef.

By sanitizing the area where we preserve food is also important.

Clean and sterilized vessels should be used for cooking n storing the food.
