There is no doubt about how technology helps in bringing efficiency and improves productivity in any business organization. However, they are also disruptive and have an impact on various aspects of the business operations which affect the market and organizations at large.

Employees started to perform lesser tasks related to their job after companies started to bring technological equipment to perform the same tasks more efficiently. However, with technological advancements, there is a general fear that many jobs role won't have a place in business operations in the future. For example, with self-drive cars and their increasing implementation, the job roles of drivers will be superficial.

Similarly, the job responsibilities of surgeons will become superficial as more and more healthcare organizations are adopting robotic equipment to conduct efficient surgeries.

This creates a huge void in the market regarding the demand for labor and the supply which will give rise to unemployment.
