Answer: The main services provided by the health information management department included various aspects of record management. The different aspects of record management include health information privacy, disposition, coding, data quality management, data collection, disclosure, standard and integrity of health-related information. The department also performs analysis of health record information and works to facilitate decision support, patient safety, and health care.
