We all agree that there is a need for security for our information systems and that there are myriad reasons why. Identify an information system area that requires some form of a security policy and list three security measures you'd implement within that policy. For each of the security measures you identify, explain why you believe they should be implemented.
Information system is a very critical system which holds crucial information regarding your product, service, company etc. We have to adopt certain measures or policies in-order to maintain or protect our security system. An information system which has a weak security and it can be easily bypassed and the this threat is real your data can be stolen or compromised. .
An information security policy must cover all components of the organization hardware, software , information, access control everything should be covered inside it and for this we know that our main server is the main part of our information system if it is attacked we are in great danger. The objective is to maintain the data integrity it should ensure that the data is available every time.
Three security measures:
Backup data almost every day, week or month
Always keep your software up to date.
Set up multi authentication
Keep your firewall and anti virus up to date and ready to strike if
a malware or hacker tries to attack
Backup:
Use cloud storage and authentic data server so that your organization is protected and it can be accessed from anywhere but it should be a trusted and secure server.
Software up to date:
Frequently check updates of software and always update or download anything from internet or other sources but make sure the reference is authentic and must be scanned before installing.
Firewall and Antivirus:
This is the most important because it will protect all the incoming viruses hackers and malware from outside and will scan every single thing making your system secure and ready to defend against everything.

We all agree that healthcare in America simply costs too much, and our financial cost controls have not worked very well thusfar. To make these control measures more effective, what industry or policy changes would need to take place?
What are some of the reasons why our healthcare system is so expensive? List three things you believe would reduce the cost of healthcare, be sure to include references to back up your statements. What are some of the major drivers to changes in health information technology?
Do you believe the need for Homeland Security should overrule some of the personal privacy and information rights we have previously taken for granted? Why or why not.
Physical security is often a second priority in an information security program. Since physical security has technical and administrative elements, it often takes a backseat to the security of data and other information technology assets. Protecting important data, confidential information, networks, software, equipment, facilities, company’s assets, and personnel is what physical security is about. There are two major types of physical security issues: natural and man-made. Natural physical security issues include floods, fire, power fluctuations, severe weather, war, etc., which...

Providing security for an organization can be a costly venture. The cost of safeguarding our information and resources should never exceed the value of that information and resource. As an MIS manager we are forced to make some very tough decisions each day. Based on what you read in chapter 10 or researched online, select a security measure that you feel may be too costly and/or provides only minimized benefit and explain why.

5. Action potentials are an all-or-none signal, yet our neurons must code for complex sensory information. Please list and describe two methods by which neurons code for incoming sensory information. In your description, you must relate the coding methods to actual theories of how we process information from one or more of our sensory systems. Place Coding is the area of the basilar membrane that vibrates determines perceived pitch Temporal Coding is the rate of neuronal firing is directly related...
Diversity and Society o While we all need food, we make our selections for a variety of different reasons. This is an opportunity to address why we as individuals make the choices we do and to reflect upon the impact those choices have on our community and environment.
