Answer

Trade secret protection is a right given by the law to the owners of intellectual property or the information, that must be kept confidential to gain economic advantage from it.

Trade secret protection practice refers to the methods or strategies used for protecting the sensitive information regarding the patients, their health related data, treatment approaches, and other valuable information about the healthcare unit's success, that must be kept confidential to remain competitive in the industry.

Trade secret protection practice is very much necessary for safeguarding the sensitive and valuable information about the patients, physicians, medicines, equipment and other Methodologies, that brings the greater revenue and growth to the healthcare organisation.

Other than these practices, healthcare organisations can use tools like data security softwares, data encryptions and secured data transfer, with a controlled system, providing accessibility to the information to those personnel that are authorised by the healthcare unit.
