1. When negotiating with a foreign partner, which language should be used? Ours or theirs? Why?
2. Has English replaced all other languages as the required language for global trade today? If so, why should anyone study another language? Or is there still a competitive advantage in having an ability to negotiate in a partner’s home language?

When negotiating with a foreign partner with their language should be given preference as it directly provides an adequate response to our understanding of their culture and creates a more satisfactory status that provide adequate level of support in operation for the specific condition. Negotiation in their language directly increases adaptability as well as provide advocate level of support in communicating in a better manner as well as to explain your demands and necessity is in an adequate manner.

English definitely be used at a very large scale but some of the countries they still prefer their primary language to do business as well as to create any connection at foreign countries. Only depending on English can cause extensive harm to the organisation as most of the Asian countries which are center of different manufacturing capabilities are only following their language rather than being depending on english as a primary language.

Definitely there is a competitive advantage in able to understand the home language of the partner as well as to maintain a specific advantage in the respective environment by knowing their preferences as well as difference aesthetics at the respective environment.
