2.)To become a Health Information Management professional,The aspirant must be graduated from one of the AHIMA(American Health Information Management Association) approved Institutions and must have qualified National Certification test after Graduation.

3.)This profession does not require any special equipment,Although all records can be saved in papers or by electronic means using computer.

4.)Computers have become an essential part of Health Information Management.Computers are generally used to save data electronically which is received from creator.A coding specialist then saves codes into the computer for each health data according to the diagnosis,treatment.
