There are different ways to compare cellphone plans. Those can be: price it will be costing monthly, the services like free perks like more data, messages and call time facilities. There can be extra services like free access to video streaming platforms, etc. can also be the add on perks which may make a people choose a plan.
The non-numeric utility function which can be provided here will be the better service like better talking experience and less call drops. This is possible if there are more towers and more area connected by the service provider.
Hence, the less drop calls can be a non-numeric utility function. Low, fair, good, extremely good are the four different parameters on which the service providers can be chosen upon as better range and low call drop facility is what a lot of people seek for.
