2. As we know that sodium hypochlorite is inorganic compound, and also when we analyze this commercial bleaching solution it shows a lower content of sodium hypochlorite because once bottle of hypochlorite is opened it starts to degrade. The lower content of Naocl is due to its lower stability and degrades to form salt and oxygen.

3.(1) in sample mass of Naocl present in diluted bleaching solution titrated is 1.191 *10^-1 g present in 2.5g of mass of commericac bleaching solution titrated. Now we need to calculate mass of Naocl in 1.00g of bleaching solution ie

Mass of Naocl = 1.191*10^-1 ×1.00/2.5

= 0.4764*10^-1g

Exercise 2 Separation of a Mixture Based on Acid-Base Properties One purpose of this exercise is to learn how to use a separatory funnel to extract a single component away from other compounds in solution. To do so, we will apply the principles of solubility and acid-base behavior you’re seeing in class. One of the compounds is neutral in the acid-base sense. It has no ability to either donate or accept a proton from an aqueous solution, and will remain...

Please read the article and answer about questions. You and the Law Business and law are inseparable. For B-Money, the two predictably merged when he was negotiat- ing a deal for his tracks. At other times, the merger is unpredictable, like when your business faces an unexpected auto accident, product recall, or government regulation change. In either type of situation, when business owners know the law, they can better protect themselves and sometimes even avoid the problems completely. This chapter...

The Grignard reagent will then react with methyl benzoate to form triphenylmethanol. Introduction Grignard reagents, such as organomagnesium halides, were discovered in 1910 by French chemist Victor Grignard. The Grignard reaction is one of the most general methods for carbon- carbon bond formation in all of organic chemistry....

For the preparation and standardization of NaOH with KHP im supposed to boil water for 1hr and 30 min to remove CO2....the problem is that if I don't boil it for that long and (30 min) b/c of not enough time but I put the water I boiled for 1/2 hr aproximately into a NaOH bottle with a CO2 absorber and stored it there for a few days. I would assume that I would have to boil the water again...but...
