Take the molar volume of air at stp to be 22 410 cm3/ mol and the viscosity (H) as 0.0186 Cp, and diffusivity of water into air as 1040 cm'h. Additional information for the relevant dimensionless parameters are: (a) Calculate the thickness of the gas film [0.064 inches] (b) What would the film thickness be if water was substituted with a different liquid for which the diffusivity is 0.145 cm'/s [0.047 inches] (c) Explain the variation of the film thickness with the mass transfer coefficient
