Which of the subshell designations are possible and which are impossible?
Possible- 5f , 3d
Impossible - 1d , 2f , 1.5p
n=1 for a d subshell is not possible, for d subshell value of n must be greater than 2.
n=2 for a f subshell is not possible, for f subshell value of n must be greater than 3.
n=1.5 is not possible as the value of n can't be in decimal, it can only be a natural number.
Please give a thumbs-up.
