List the intermolecular forces present in a sample of the following pure substances:
CH3Cl, HOCl, HCl, CH3OH, CH3CH2CH2CH3

CH3Cl - dipole dipole interaction ( due to polar bond between carbon and Chlorine ) & very little amount of London dispersion

HOCl - hydrogen bonding ( hydrogen is attached to oxygen ) and dipole dipole interaction ( due to polar bonds )

HCl - dipole dipole interaction ( polarity between hydrogen and Chlorine )

CH3OH - hydrogen bonding ( O---H bond ) and weak London dispersion

C4H10 - London dispersion force ( due to its structure )
