x(t) = 21 + 22t - 6t2

for t = 3 s     x(3) = 21 +22(3) - 6(32) = 33

for t = 1 s     x(1) = 21 + 22(1) -6(12) = 37

Δv = Δx/Δt = [x(3) - x(1)]/[3 - 1]

Δv = (33 - 37)/(2)

Δv = -2 m/s
