The few important cultural traits that I like to have in my company are
1) Meaning and purpose of work: Any company runs on the hard work of the employees. So what is the purpose and meaning of the work that they will be doing should be understood by them . If they understand they will perform in that direction which helps the company to grow.
2) Communication: Any company success depends on the effective communication between the owners and it's employees. Employees should feel that they are not neglected by the organisation. So the higher authorities should be able to guide the employee whenever there is a necessary. Employees should not hesitate to communicate with them.
3) Feedback: Every employee should be given feedback on how they are doing their work and make them understand their strengths and weakness. Feedback plays a key to make an employee understand his mistake.
4) Appreciation: If an employee performs very weel the higher authorities should appreciate them which will boost them to work more hard than they do.
5) Team work: Employees should be in a position to work in team so that they will have lot of inputs among themselves which helps in the growth of the company.
6) Growth and development: Always see that when the company grows even the employee working in that also grow which make them realize how well they are treated by the company.
7) Empathy: Emphatize with the people around so that they will have a feeling that you are understanding them and trying to help which makes them to own the company as their own.
