Span gases are special gas mixtures used for testing gas detection equipment. A new spectrophotometer was being calibrated and a sample of 13 test replicate measurements were taken from the machine. If the machine is working correctly is will produce readings equal to 70ppm on average but otherwise the machine is giving biased readings. Is there evidence that the machine is biased and needs to be re-calibrated? Data: 74, 76, 72, 77, 69, 70, 74, 72, 73, 75, 74, 71, 67 ppm.
