The plot using the given data is

C K M 1 2 0.0141 0.1424 B 0.1367 0.6017 y = 3.7463x+0.0896 R2 = 1.0000 6 8 9 absorbance 10 11 12 13 14 0.05 0.1 0.15 concentr

best line equation is

y = 3.7463 x + 0.0896

slope = 3.7463

intercept = 0.0896

where , y is absorbance and x is concentration.

when , absorbance of a solution = 0.337

then ,

0.337 = 3.7463 \times concentration of the solution + 0.0896

or, 3.7463 \times concentration of the solution = (0.337 - 0.0896)

or, 3.7463 \times concentration of the solution = 0.2474

or, Concentration of the solution = (0.2474/3.7463)

or, Concentration of the solution = 0.066 M
