Answer #1

They are asking us what is total pressure when partial pressure of each gas is provided. Here we go with Dalton's law of partial pressure

PTotal = P1 + P2 + P3

PTotal = Total pressure of 3 gases,

P1 = partial pressure of gas 1,

P2 = partial pressure of gas 2,

P3 = partial pressure of gas 3

Units should be same of partial pressure of gases units like atm, mmHg, torr, Pa, kPa, bar any one used in previous part.

last two questions require previous part to answer, which is not posted by you, but we can calculate this third part only as (suppose that one of the gas is P3, say)

P3 = PTotal - P1 - P2

The new volume can be calculated by V2 = (P1V1 / P2)

P1 = initial pressure; V1 = initial volume; P2 = new pressure; V2 = new volume.

Hope this helped you!
