Answer #1

1. Yes Xerox‘s model should be followed by all of the companies as it will lead in creating competitive edge over other competitors. Quality should be a tradition that every employee (whether lower level employee or upper level employee) faithfully observes. It will help the company to strengthen its competitive position, have high productivity, enhance its market image, increase its profitability and also ensure that employees have job security. It also helps to maintain long term relationship with the customers. The focus of quality refers to meeting the expectations of customers and financial stakeholders. It helps to increase employee participation in the production process by considering their suggestions regarding the process. As a result of which a sense of belonging is created among the employees towards the entity, which brings the best from them. Hence Xerox model should be followed by all the companies.

4. It is not possible for any company to hire only that employees that fit their ideal work environment. Every person has different ideology, philosophy, attitude, skills. If all the people fit in the ideal work environment, then all of them would think in the similar way, leading to reduction of creative ideas which may stop the growth of the company. Also it might bring several problems to the entity like:

A) If all the employees fit the ideal environment, then no one would have out of box thinking, thus leading to loss of creative ideas.

B) The management would not be able to identify the shortcomings of the process followed in the entity, as there would be no one to question it.

C) There can always be a better working environment than the existing. But since all employees fit in such environment, no one would take initiative to find such better ideal environment.
