In my point of view graduate students today are very flexible and have a good time frame for handling their studies. Most of the graduates have their families and other works. So every one should be bother about themself rhat which graduate programs will meet their needs. First of all for the selection of the graduate work I should check which of the work will meet my professional needs. Also the payment of the work should be checked prior to the selection and readiness. Keep in mind that before the selection of every work analyse the expectations and the limitations in you. Selection of the work area is also an important thing. It should meet the financial as well as the personal aspect of the individual. A support system both in terms of family and friends is very essential for a graduate worker. If you are handling a family then discuss the all aspects with them and make necessary arrangements for the proper working. I thoroughly believe that a perfect graduate worker is the one who handles the role of family person, caretaker, employee and student role all together by a complete self satisfaction.
TIME MANAGEMENT: Time management is an important thing in a graduate life. A student might have to go through multiple responsibilities like research, studying, writing and other activities. Working smarter rather than working harder is advisable. Use the support sytem to help your regular homely activities. It is better to set a timer of definite period for every single activity. Try to finish them up on time. Take a short break after every time period. This way of working will help you to relieve stress.
Make a schedule and find time for family, study, work and classes. Setting boundaries will be very effective for those with multiple responsibilities. Always make sure that you are giving your time to important people and important tasks.
Most importantly practice a self care of your health. Make sure that your efforts are not affecting your health. Always assess your physical mental and emotional health. Eat balance diet and perform regular exercise. Self care is the vital element in performing optimal in graduate works.
