Cerebrospinal fluid is a fluid contained in brain and spinal cord that helps protect them from shock, provide nutrition and help in transport of substances.
CSF is analysed for its appearance and biochemical composition. CSF is analysed for colour, electrolytes, pH, specific gravity, cells, proteins, cancer cells and other foreign bodies.
The chemistry test for CSF needs less amount of CSF whereas cytology test requires more amount of CSF sample. But cytology tests give important information about the composition of CSF. It tells about the cells present in CSF and the cell count. Cytokines testing of CSF also tells about presence of bacteria, viruses, cancerous cells and other pathogenic bodies in CSF. This can lead to diagnosis of infectious diseases like meningitis, brain cancer, immunological disorders.
So CSF cytology analysis is more important

Procedure 4. How small is small? (omit uncertainty, we're only making a point) This idea is so useful, it has a name, the Small Angle Approximation. What we want to do is approximate sin x by x, so we can get the trigonometry out of the calculation. Mathematically. we're going to take the first term in the Taylor series, but that's math for another time. If you're interested, there's great video on YouTube for using the Taylor series to approximate...
