since there is no loss. so assuming catcher and hitter at same level and have same potential energy. so from energy coservarvation

(KE)initial +(PE)initial = (KE)final + ((PE)initial

since

(PE)initial = (PE)initial {at same level}

so

(KE)initial = (KE)final

hence it will have same velocity as initial i.e. = v =27.71 m/s
