Answer #1

ANSWER.

13) Calculation of gtt/min.

        gtt/min = Volume(ml) / Time(min) * Drop factor (gtt/ml).

   Here

       Volume(ml) = 1000 ml.

        Time(min) = 600 min (10 hr (6 am - 4 pm))

        Drop factor = 15 gtt/ml.

As per above formula

         gtt/min = 1000 / 600 * 15

                      = 1.67 * 15

                      = 25 gtt/min.

14) Calculation of gtt/min.

             gtt/min = Volume(ml) / Time(min) * Drop factor (gtt/ml).

       Here

            Volume(ml) = 1000 ml.

            Time(min) = 600 min (10 hr (6am-4pm)).

      Drop factor = 60 gtt/ml.

   As per above formula

            gtt/min = 1000/600 * 60

                         = 1.67 * 60

                         = 100 gtt/min.
