CaCO3 (s) + 2 HCl (aq) -----------------> CaCl2 (aq) + H2O (l) + CO2 (g)

Complete balance Chemical equation :

CaCO3 (s) + 2 H+ (aq) + 2 Cl- (aq) -----------------> Ca2+ (aq) + 2 Cl- (aq) + H2O (l) + CO2 (g)

Net ionic equation : Cancel the spectator ion i.e. Cl- on both the side.

CaCO3 (s) + 2 H+ (aq) -----------------> Ca2+ (aq) + H2O (l) + CO2 (g)
