(7) mass of solute=800g-780g=20g

mass%of the solute in this solution=(20g/800g)*100%=2.5%

Hence,2.5%

(8) Assume V1=500ml M1=2.4M M2=1.0M

V2 we need to calculate

Here using equation M1× V1=M2× V2

2.4×500=1.0×V2

=>V2=1200ml

Hence we need 1.2L or 1200mL of water to make a solution of 1.0M.
