Dec. 19 Cash $             970
Sales Discount ( $1000 * 3% ) $               30
Account Receivable-B .Oswald $           1,000
(Being account receivables received)

Notes:

1) Total sales on 10th December was $2000 but on 15th December $1000 worth goods were returned

2) Remaining receivable from B. Oswald was $1000 and sales discount on that is $30 as payment is done in 10 days.
