Given is:-

Initial velocity of the block  v = 4 m/s

angle of inclination  θー20

Now,

the free body diagram will be as shown below:-

Normal force mg sin theta mg cos theta mg

Thus the declearation along the surface will be

a = rac{mgsin heta }{m} = g sin heta

by plugging all the values we get

a - (9.8)sin(20

a 3.352m/s Cl

Now

using third equation of motion we get

v^2 = u^2 + 2as

(0)-= (4)2 + 2(-3.352)s

which gives us

s2.39m

Hence

the block slides for 2.39m before coming to rest
