There is a Michaelis-Menten enzyme. I need a Linewaver-Burk graph in which x axis is 1/[S] and y axis is 1/V. The graph will be doing in exel2007

[S] (mm) 1/15 mm V (mmol/min) no inhibitor 1/V (min/mmol) no inhibitor V(mmol/min) inhibitor present 1/V(min/mmol) inhibitor

The next step is to calculate KM without inhibitor and KMapp with inhibitor and Vmax without inhibitor and with inhibitor to identify what kind of inhibition the enzyme has.

In the regresion curve y=ax+b, b is the upper ratio rate (Vmax) and a is KM/Vmax.

With inhibitor the upper ratio rate is

1 = 0,0784 mi Vmax, app тіп = 0.0784 mmol

KM,app=7.8155mM

KM units are:

Without inhibitor, the upper ratio is:

V mar 0.0629_min 0.0629 nung = 15.8983 mmol тап

But KM is calculated by:

KM = 7.4165mM

The inhibition is noncompetitive because it reduces Vmax and KM.
