i) BAC is dependent variable, as it varies with number of BEERS
ii) BEERS is independent variable
a. =CORREL(BEERS,BAC) = 0.93
b.

1. Null hypothesis: There is no correlation and it is zero
2. Alternate hypothesis: Yes there is correlation between BAC and BEERS
3. Critical value at 95 percent =0.456
4. Test statistics = 0.93*sqrt(19-2)/sqrt(1-0.93^2)=10.43
5. As the test statistic is greater than critical value, it has significant relation and hence the null hypothesis is rejected
6. There is a strong association between BAC and number of beers
