Answer #1

Answer:About 2 inches

When performing CPR on an adult ,the depth of the compression should be about 2 inches that is 5cm .About 2 inches means depth should be 2 inch.so that the heart is massaged effectively with adequate chest recoil between the sternal bone and vertebrae.if more than 2 inch or 2.5 inch the compression is given it can injure internal organs

If compression depth is 1/2 inch,1 inch,11/2 inches it won't be an effective CPR .because the Heart will not be massaged between the sternal and vertebrae.

The answer is not at least 2inch because by the word at least it gives an impression that it is minimum depth of compression and anything more can be acceptable.but that's wrong because any compression more than 5.5cm can injure internal organs
