Infection prevention can be achieved in clinical practice.. infection can be caused with any pathogens like bacteria, fungi,viruses etc..not every pathogens are spreading the infection only some pathogens it twill spread and make infection.. vulnerable people are more prone for infection so it should be prevented before getting infection..

- take care of skin breakdown area which is the mode of infection trasmitransm
- ask patient about vaccination history
- monitor the surgical and elderly people with low immunity and children below 14years
- wash hands thoroughly before and after doing any procedure
- encourage well balanced diet and adequate rest..
- follow strict sterile techniques when doing procedure for the Patient..
- wear gloves ,mask, apron to protect from infection
- limit the family to visit patient at hospital
- highly infected patients should be isolated in another area..
- advice about antibiotic therapy,hygeinic techniques at home and hospital..
