Imagine that a friend or family member asks your advice about whether he should look for foods sweetened with sugar instead of high-fructose corn syrup. What will you tell him?

I would advise him to avoid both sweetened sugars and high-fructose corn syrup as well as it provide nothing more than empty calories ie this calories does not come along with any nutrients.
