-Walk in primary care in retail settings

-Typically staffed by a nurse practitioner and physician assistant who specialise in family health care and are trained to diagnose , treat and write prescription for minor illness such strep throat , infection of eye, ear ,skin ,lungs , bladder .

#. Advantages of minute clinics :-

- Convenient location, no appointments necessary

#. Disadvantages of minute clinics :-

- No continuity of care, not a physician- may or may not be able to prescribe medications in some states

- On the flip side.. Many are located within a retail location with a pharmacy- conflict of interest? More likely to prescribe medication?
