The concentration of nickel in nickel plating bath = 58000 mg/L = {58 g/(58.693 g.mol-1)}/L = 0.9882 mol/L

The drag-out rate = 0.05 L/min

Therefore, if you draw a plot of nickel concentration (in the dead rinse tank of 200 L capacity) versus time (in min), then the concentration decreases with time.

i.e. The slope of the line is negative (-ve).
