You currently work as a marketing coordinator for New City Home Care, a private home health company that offers nursing care and therapy services to the elderly residents of a medium-sized Midwestern city with a population of about 55,000 people. The neighboring town, about 10 miles away, has a much smaller population, but as the population ages, this town is seeing an increase in retirees. The chief executive officer (CEO) of New City Home Care has decided that it would be beneficial to expand into this town by opening a satellite office. She is eager to be the first home health company to open a physical office in this new territory and has tasked you with developing a marketing plan. You have been asked to provide an executive summary to the management team of the marketing plan.

The summary needs to explain how the following will used in your team's marketing plan:

• The company’s historical resident trends and current strategic plan

Marketing proposal is a written offer from the seller to the prospective buyer . It is a highly important selling tool for small consultants and agencies . It includes the company's experience and capabilities ,the historical trends and current organisations scenario.

Here in this case ,I am appointed to make a marketing proposal .

Before you make a marketing proposal keep in mind the following points :-

1. Target market - analyse the target whom you have to attract to your business ,without knowing your target you can't succeed .

2. Position statement - providing a brief and order wise explanation of your services

3. Value - the values to be maintained during your services

4. Goals - stating the goals

5. Pricing strategies - determining the criteria for pricing the services

6. SWOT analysis - analysis of strength ,weakness , opportunities and threatening

7. Budget and planning - making plan for implementation of services and proper use of budget available .

Marketing proposal should be written in a proper way including these components :-

- Prepare a mission statement = in this case the mission is to expand the nursing home to near by neighborhood town which is 10 miles way and has a smaller population but has increase in number of retirees.

- List and describe the target = in this case the target is the older people who are living in the near by neighborhood town.

- Describe the services = services which will be provided to the older adults will be on the basis of there needs . The quality and accessibility have to be described in this portion . Before enlisting the services ,have a thorough study of the needs of the older people this will help to develop more creative and attractive services.

- Spell out marketing and promotional strategies = explain about the plan and strategies to be followed in order to provide a patient centered quality care to the older adults .

- Identify and understand the competition = before initiation of the services ,have a analysis of the nearby other organization which can be a competition to you and do the needful changes or amendments in the services ,so,that it is different from the services provided by the other organization and more attractive and creative at a cheap cost .

- Establish the marketing goals = describe the goals to be attained by the implementation of the services ,in this case it is to expand the nursing home to the near by town.

- Monitor the results = to monitor the results have a small pilot study of the whole plan and evaluate the findings and do the further changes as necessary if found less successful .
