To find - prepare a dose of 90mEq

Standard formula - X= D/A x Q

Where , D= doctor prescription

A= strength printed on medicine level

Q= unit in which printed strength present

X = 90/50 x 15 = 27mL answer= 27mL

ANSWER- 18) Given ,

prescribed dose - 120mg

strength of drug - 80mg in 4mL

X= D/A x Q

=120mg/80mg x4mL = 6mL answer - 6mL

ANSWER- 19) Given ,

prescribed dose - 18mg

strength of drug - 20mg in 50mL

X= D/A x Q

= 18mg/20mg x 50mL = 45mL answer= 45mL

ANSWER- 20) Given ,

prescribed dose - 6mg

strength of drug - 20mg in 25mL

X = D/A x Q

= 6mg/ 20mg x 25mL = 7.5mL answer = 7.5mL
